Mother of Three, Wedding Planner for Oldest Daughter, IU Fan
Client Services Supervisor
Payne Wealth Partners
601 N Cross Pointe Blvd.
The person with whom you make first contact in a business often sets the tone for your expectations of that business. The right person for that position is one who makes clients feel comfortable and welcomed as well as confident. At Payne Wealth Partners, that person is Lori Wathen.
Lori’s background in marketing at Healthsouth Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital and her experience working with clients at Edward Jones is the perfect mix of experience in assisting the clients at Payne Wealth Partners. Not only is she typically the first person a client speaks with, she’s also the go-to person for everyone in the office. It’s a position that she enjoys: “Every day brings something new, and I never do the same thing twice. I enjoy the variety of work here.”
Since joining Payne Wealth Partners in January 2008, Lori has become an anchor for the day-to-day tasks that take place in the firm. She is responsible for creating new client accounts, account transfers, wire procedures and assisting with quarterly client reporting, as well as performing daily administrative tasks.
At the end of the day, Lori takes her pleasant demeanor and positive outlook and extends it to her home life. She finds comfort in gardening, and pleasure in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, kayaking, and mountain climbing. As a mom to three kids, her focus is on her family and their interests – the same kind of attention she brings to her job at Payne Wealth Partners. Lori is a perfect example of how each person on the Payne Wealth Partners staff is part of a team that cares for its clients
“…revolves around me going to my son’s sports games, working in the yard and garden, and spending time with my family.”
“Lori does a lot. She is the go to person for miscellaneous things around the office and always brightens the room at Payne Wealth Partners. She carries that characteristic over to client relations as she makes them feel apart of our team and really cares for them.”
