Investment Analyst Job Description

Our growing financial advisory practice is looking for a positive person to join our team
as investment analyst.

Primary Duties for this position include:
Manage, support, and learn all aspects of the Chief Investment Officer’s (CIO) responsibilities to enable CIO to delegate tasks and new growth effectively. In this role, the Analyst should be looking for ways to manage up in a way that frees the companies Investment Leadership to allow enhanced services for clients.

The Analyst will manage much of the day to day operations of the unit as well as drive/support strategic initiatives, while managing the traffic flow and workload of tasks for the unit. This person will work across the company on a variety of other activities to ensure Investment Leadership responsibilities are being well managed.

Example duties include:

  • Drafting investment recommendations based on Investment Managers instruction
  • Communicating to clients on behalf of the managers
  • Handling incoming communications for Investment Manager’s operations
  • Ensure items due are prepared on time while keeping CIO abreast of key actions
  • Tracking client commitments made during meetings to ensure proper delivery
  • Enable scalability of companies’ investment function
  • Collaborate with staff across company divisions to further initiatives regarding client and investment manager

Skills Required:
Candidates must have a strong command of writing (grammar primarily) and speaking skills (professionalism). This Analyst will need to be a self-starter who can manage up properly. This candidate will need to be able to suggest tasks for delegation to them. You must be teachable and moldable to mimic the style and capabilities of successful Investment Leadership. Be results oriented and interested in increasing your measurable results. Ability to learn/utilize various software providers as it relates to communication objectives
Experience in a similar work environment with a record of managing up effectively preferred.

Marketing Analyst Job Description

The Marketing Analyst will report directly to the Business Development Director and will be primarily responsible for organizing and assisting with implementation of our team marketing programs. Additional responsibilities will include work related to the company’s web and digital presence in the marketplace.

He or she must be able to work independently and manage up effectively to show concrete results. There will be opportunities to uncover and understand market research and what will drive higher growth for the company.

Job duties would include but are not limited to:

To support our wealth planning team we’re looking for someone to fill a Paraplanner role in our Legacy service line who can bring energy and commitment to our mission.

Skills and Characteristics Required:

  • Background in financial planning, income and estate tax planning and/ or estate planning required.
  • Experience with high net worth clients is preferred.
  • Believes in a Fee-Only, Fiduciary approach and putting the client’s interests first, above all else.
  • Wants to find a challenging position within an open framework that allows creative thinking and personal style development.

Primary duties include:

  1. Forming initial questions to gather information from clients.
  2. Utilizing planning technology to enter and model client wealth planning concepts and solutions.
  3. Generating preliminary planning projections and recommendations.
