Without tech-savvy son-in-laws we would have never been set up on Apple’s Photo Stream. Now that we are, we can’t live without it. This is Taylor Payne writing about how wonderful Photo Stream has been in helping my wife Jenny and I keep up with our two grandsons (a 6-month old in Dallas and a 2-month old in San Antonio).
Briefly, here is how it works. The person with the pictures on their iPhone or iPad sets up a stream and invites others to view. When an invite is accepted, the viewer gets to see all pictures in the “stream” as added now or in the future. For our grandsons there are many other brothers, sisters, grandparents, friends all seeing the same picture stream (again, they were all invited). Each person viewing can make a comment on a picture, and all the others can view the comment. For more details see http://www.igeeksblog.com/photo-stream-not-working-on-iphone/.
I am happy to share this with you and hope that it enriches your long-distance relationships like it has ours. Happy viewing!
