Donating Blood: One of the Best Returns on Investment
The American Red Cross and Payne Wealth Partners team up to make a difference
Evansville, September 24, 2013 – This marks the first ever Payne Wealth Partners hosted blood drive. The blood drive’s goal is to provide an event where fellow professionals in the Evansville area can serve their local community. The event will be held in the Payne Wealth Partners parking lot, 601 N. Cross Pointe Blvd, inside an American Red Cross Bus. This is a unique happening where the American Red Cross sends a “blood mobile” to companies and organizations that want to host a blood drive. Along with the employees, the host company is extending an invitation out to the rest of the professional community to increase the blood drive’s effectiveness. The bare minimum requirement for the American Red Cross to approve a blood drive is 25 donors. Payne Wealth Partners is looking to easily reach or surpass this number with help from the professional community. Bethany Muensterman the Trader/Research Analyst who led the idea within the office of Payne Wealth Partners, see’s the event helping our local community in many ways.
Serving your community makes you feel great. Getting others to help you serve the community makes you feel even better. Our goal is to give people, with similar passions for serving, an opportunity to make a difference right here in our local community. It will be a rewarding event for many reasons and I can’t wait to gather fellow professionals for a local need.
With nearly 5 million people who need blood transfusions each year, the need for blood donations has never been more important. Blood is needed by cancer patients, people with blood disorders or diseases, premature babies, transplant recipients, trauma and accident victims, and to treat people with other serious diseases conditions. One blood drive of 25 appointments or more can save as many as three lives. Join us as we invest in the health of our local patients in need. Schedule a time to donate with us here: http://ow.ly/nSSdq
